The Argument for Legalization of drugs

LET ME ASK YOU 3 QUESTIONS

  1. Do you know anyone who uses drugs?

2. Do you know anyone who sells drugs?

3. Do you know anyone who has overdosed from drugs?

If you answered yes to number 1 the enemy is firing in your direction. If you answered yes to number 2 the enemy is at your position. If you answered number 3 the enemy is in your trenches taking out your people.

Nearly 841,000 people have died since 1999 from a drug overdose according to statistics from the CDC. Over 70,000 Died in 2019 alone and the number is rising.

IS IT TIME TO SURRENDER TO THE FACT DRUGS ARE NOT LEAVING AND WERE PROBABLY NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING TO THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE WAR PLAN TO BRING THEM TO OUR COUNTRY?

I propose we legalize drugs in the United States and then tax it. I want to keep the enemy in the forefront of this operation and bring them to the table as they are already logistically running. With a world GDP is $78 trillion in the same year, the illegal drug trade may be estimated as nearly 1% of total global trade. that's 780 billion dollars a year with 90% of drugs coming to the United States.

What are my Goals behind this endeavor?

  1. End the violence in our communities — I believe that gun violence will decrease by 80% if we keep the enemy at the helm of production logistics and distribution in just our country alone with residual effects spreading to other countries where these drugs have created civil wars.
  2. Remove the use of fentanyl — through regulation inspection and testing we can keep addicts alive and stop overdose deaths by an estimated 65%. Addicts will be more likely to call first responders in the in the event that the whole use of drugs is not illegal.
  3. Relieve Police of drug war duties — by doing this we free up our police to focus on issues we find more serious leaving drug abuse in the hands of medical professionals. This will help our law enforcement to reset into a community policing role where they are allowed to win back hearts and minds in the communities that have defunded and help give a layer of protection where law enforcement is respected.
  4. Bring the original countries back to peace — Currently the countries that produce and move drugs are hotbeds of violence. Because of this people flee these countries and flock to countries like ours. Our border is a major issue and I believe we can find middle ground between the left and right giving security and open borders both a try because we're going to bring the cartels to the table with there respectable governments and ask for a pardon in agreement with an end to the violence as well as keep them in the game so it works for all parties
  5. Pay off our national debt — we don't need to increase taxes we just need to add this business to our tax revenue. at 780 billion estimated a year in 40 years we would have our national debt eliminated. Thats right we are currently at 30 trillion dollars in debt

How would I do this?

We have all the people in place. We just need to revert our current agencies into regulation agencies with the CIA as a negotiator.

This concludes my argument!
